The Redding Rancheria Community Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation has awarded the Trade School at SBE $2500 to upgrade our National Electric Code classroom materials.
Specifically, funds awarded by Redding Rancheria will upgrade the Trade School’s classroom NEC Codebooks from the 2011 edition to the recently adopted 2014 edition of the code. California is one of 29 States that currently use the 2014 NEC as its statewide standard effective 01/01/2017. NEC Adoption Map.
The books have been ordered and will be available for student and instructor reference by the beginning of the Fall 2017 semester of the Electrical program here at the Trade School.
Everyone here at the Trade School (students, staff, instructors, and board) would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to those at the Redding Rancheria Community Fund and the Shasta Regional Community Foundation who have supported our aspirations to prepare our community’s workforce for the future. Thank you!
